When im getting ready for a match I try to think about all the hard work that i have put in to my training and conditioning. I tell my self over and over that no one can beat me, I am the fastest, the strongest, and the smartest wrestler in my class and no one is going to take my gold medal from me.
If i have wrestled my opponents before and i know that they will be there i will watch the matches the night before and look for things that i could of done better.
Prior to the match i also get my heart rate up and get a good sweat going. I do this because with you body warmed up your heart and lungs will be ready for the increases work load. If you start off cold you will find yourself tired at first then your body (hearts and lungs) will catch up and your energy will increase
