Friday, I had 5 kids cut practice early to go to dinner and a movie with the ART CLUB.....I kicked them out of the room sooner than expected...and get to deal with this today at practice....any suggestions on how this should go????

I already have in mind what I am going to do....but would like to hear a bit more...

forgot to add that we are 8 days away from our season opener....I couldn't believe they would even contemplate cutting practice for art club.....

kids are misguided these days!

I guess I'm mixed on the deal. The wrestler in me says never cut practice short for anything but on the other hand if its a one time deal and then its 110% wrestling i would let them know you didnt think it was right and that it will never happen again.

If they would have let me in on the info then I could have added a bit of time to practice and made up for the missed time.....the trouble was the timing on the thing....like I find out in practice that they are leaving.....blah blah blah....they are just kids, but if I don't point them in the right direction they will never get there!!!!!
