Our Highschool coach is having the boys do an intensive workout the night before a competion and the morning of a competition, I always thought this was not a good thing, here is the workout:
Sprint 1 min, jog 1 1/2 min, Sprint 1 min, job 1 1/2 min, repeat 7 times
3 min jog
9 min speed takedowns work on your best shots
5 min speed top drill top
3 min speed bottom,
I though this doing this kind of workout before a big competion would use up all the ATP in your muscles. Especially the morning of a competition. Set me straight.
