Hucknall to their credit have never made any bone about their ground needing work! Having met some Hucknall fans at the matches we have with them, they never expected their club to go to Full conference for similar finance reasons as Alfreton and the ground issue is merely a side aspect brought on from jealous fans of other teams- Here at Alfreton we say that Hucknall deserved their Championship as they were the better team all season and it was great that a team in our local area won it if we could not.Personally I expect Alfreton and Hucknall to have approved grounds very soon the for Full conference. I think Hucknall got picked on because they won the league and were not expected to!
