I didn't say that (Charles Platt did) and it is not even correct from one perspective, in that CI contracts with SA for standby/stabilization for those members who want it.
If I were to add up what I know (and I only know what I read) of Alcor's standby/stabilization vs. that of SA, they seem both to be about equally lame.
Your final implication that CI just drops people straight into the LN tank is blatantly false. I at least scan thru their case reports, and see only the most seriously deteriorated patients do not get at least some stabilization at a funeral home (or by SA) before shipment to CI, and at CI's local mortuary they are perfused with vitrification solution before being cooled to LN temp and stored. You know these things, unperson - you are just doing your usual Alcor-fanatic anti-CI thing, typical of way too many Alcor members I have run across.
