That's one of the silliest things I've ever read here, or was it supposed to be facetious:
"I have rather a poor opinion of baseball, since it legitimizes acts of lawless opportunism (the practice of "stealing a base," which as I understand it, is permitted by the official rules)."
Probably don't think much of gravity either, as it takes most everything to the bottom eventually.
Its just a game. Some people think the results are important, others don't. I guess if you're good at it, you can make a lot of money.
Some people like to gamble, play golf or lie in hot mud. None of it should bother anyone else much. | |
