If I'm not heavily moderated, I get carried away. The key to good forums is good moderation. The solution for someone like me is to confine the contributor to one post per day. You can see that idea put into automated action on google blog search where there are thousands of blogs mentioning cryonics-- but only ONE appearance by any one particular blog on any day.
The forum moderator could post a warning at the top of a forum that basically indicates the expected behavior-- which is one post a day... in reponse to an existing matter... and no more than one NEW subject line per day... ord else there would be a ban... for a month, say.
