Response to This is totally false.
FD: "My opinion of CI went down a notch when Ben Best appeared on here and instead of explaining why and how he works for Kent and the Reanimation Foundation, he uttered Plattesque spin stating he is not on Reanimation Foundations's board of directors, trying to lead people to think he has nothing to do with the organization at all (such as web services for it and Kent)."
I, too, am puzzled by Ben Bestís response. He stated that he got the domain as an act of good will, because the RF "is prohibited from hawing a web site". I considered Ben to be always a straight arrow, but something here does not add up. Why Kent and Faloon lost the registration of RF domain? Was it as a result of a consent decree, or a some sort of settlement, or something else here in USA, or in EU? Since Ben stated that RF cannot have a web site, it would imply that something caused that here in the U.S. Does it mean that RF is already liquidated, or is it still in business? If so, how and from where it is conducting business? and as a foundation where it fulfills itís filing requirements? What is happening?
I think the field where RF is (or was) active if of a great importance to many cryonicists, so I hope we will hear some explanation of what is happening with RF and why? FD? Charles Platt? Bob Ettinger? Melody? Regina? Or anyone else can shed some light on this?
