Response to Re: A Few Questions for Ben Best
Wouldn't surprise me, considering the mention above of the "continual revision and correction when required" of case reports. Um ...
Perhaps instead, she, with her extensive medical background, and professed familiarity with professional medical-level case reporting, could contribute something positive to cryonics here. Instead of associating herself with those who would destroy cryonics.
That would be: Give the "RUP" level cryonics providers a standard format to use, which resembles medical case reporting.
Then there would be no profuse narratives of medically-unrelated material. Unless it were to be contained in a separate document, describing the logistics and other peculiarities of cryonics cases. That of course being what most of us would be more likely to read, since most of us are not medical pros, and a really important barrier to cryonics ever being useful having to do with "getting there when needed with the proper equipment and people".
Of course, she probably won't, as she thinks that no service is better than the best service available, albeit from "RUP" level folks. I have read her fulminate on this many times.
Just some thoughts,
