Response to Sparks underplays his operation.

I'm in Oregon because this is where I grew up and because this is where my businesses are located. I'm not that new; I've been at it for over 15 years. I have no interest in the Death with Dignity Act which I see as an entirely separate matter that's between the patient and his or her physicians. A cryonics organization should not try to influence those decisions in the slightest. There is no underground operation. The equipment is clearly posted on our website. Certainly, as with any organization, some discussions simply do not belong in a public forum. And then, as far as the technical discussions go, it would be pointless to try to have a technical discussion on this forum. I've tried. If I ask how to build a LN2 level detector, nobody here would have a clue. Or if I want to know which kinds of plastics work best at various temperatures and with which chemicals, I get silence. And those technical issues are all that I care about. I don't care the slightest about most other topics.
