You're talking about Intermediate Temperature Storage, right? Heavily insulated, gas cooled, about -130 C, extra thermal mass for safety, computer controlled. And by the time this happens, robotics will probably be more available. So there would be a port in the top or side of the dome, and a robot-controlled storage system would move things around inside. This is actually similar to ideas originally floated around by Robert Nelson in the 60's. As the number of patients scales up, a larger container such as this is the natural approach. Wowk also advocates such ideas. But it's going to take a lot more patients before we start seeing such storage systems, not to mention a lot of work on computer control systems.
