Well paid jobs doing cryonics research, not only writing about it, should also count as making money off of cryonics. If I remember correctly, where was in the past a posting about Charles complaining how much money Critical Care Relatives are making.
As for Saul Kent, I would say that taxpayers are amply contributing toward supporting his cryonics avocation with tax deductible funding.
Taxpayers are "contributing" to every charity and religion you can think of, including ACORN and Scientology. If this kind of thing bothers you, you have a LONG list of organizations to tackle before you get to the relatively small amounts being spent on cryonics. Good luck.
