It's interesting that they're using liquid nitrogen to do the exact opposite of what cryonicists use liquid nitrogen for. They are basically cremating these people by super freezing them, then shaking them until they're pulverized into a fine powder that is apparently better for the environment. Is this a new thing? I've never heard of it before. Some cryonicists have talked about freeze-drying as a cheap alternative to standard cryonics procedures, but I don't think this is what they had in mind.
