It would be lovely to have the carpark behind the Muswell Hill Odeon cinema excavated out and underground carparking put in. Then period style low level appartments could be built with an Edwardian architectural style on that site.
Cold Fall Woods on Creighton Avenue needs cleaning up. Gangs of anti-social children from the nearby schools throw all their rubbish in there and spray awful graffiti over the tree and its about time it was all cleaned up. The gravestones need resetting and perhaps gravel or woodchip pathways should be laid there to make it more appealing for visitors to come to.
To make room, planning permission should be given for alot more shops in the Muswell Hill area to construct basement floors as retail space if they so wish. I sometimes feel that although there is alot of money in Muswell Hill it still looks a little bit shabby and needs a complete overhaul in terms of town planning.
