Why do the people of Muswell Hill put up with these yobs?
by Local Resident not directly affected as yet.
There is some query raised as to whether or not they have a legal right to clamp along this particular road. The council have also discovered that they do not, in fact, have planning permission to operate their business.
Perhaps other "concerned residents" can pursue the council with regard to this absent planning permission, and hopefully evict them... hear, hear.
I expect the council aren't too concerned as long as they pay the rates, presuming of course they are required to pay, owing to the fact they do not possess planning permission for their business.
More to the point, surely Muswell Hill possesses a few decent legal minds who would donate some of their time to dealing with the matter. I know St James's Church has a free legal advice centre and has the services of a retired barrister who might be called upon to assist in this matter.
Why not name and shame these thugs. Why not have a demonstration, why not complain to the local MP, why not boycott the services offered.
