I use Queens Wood and enjoy it's wild appearance. It is somewhat more intimidating for single people, families, females etc because of it's natural appearance and lack of crowds. My advice to you is enjoy it while you can, would it be as nice a place if it were as populated as Highgate Woods.
When I moved here nearly 15 years ago the wood was only used by locals, now people travel far and wide to access it.
