As a muswell hill resident for over twenty years the problems with blocked streets cars parked on pavements and old bangers left on the roads is getting worse all the time something has to be done before it just degenerats the whole area.
So whilst I dont want a CPZ it dose have good points like if a car is parked for more than the displayed time it can be removed without waiting at least 21 days. It also becomes a offence to obstruct the footway or park where not allowed and gives the authorities the right to remove the cars or vans causing the obstructions. So if you park where you should not its only you own fault. but if you park in the proper place there is no problem. If people paked properly in the first place there would be no need for CPZ. It is only the selfish attitude of a very small minority thats caused this problem in the first place but they have become so complacent every one else has to pay for it.
