OK, I'm finally up to date.
I don't have a hair routine yet except shampoo with Creme of Nature and treat the ends of my hair every night with the jojoba/aloe vera mix. Tried the 3 parts aloe to 1 part oil, but I think next time I will mix a little more oil in. Just using the jojoba is too oily for everyday. But I think I will put just oil on the end of my braid tonight, since I'm not going anywhere. If I've wet my hair down completely I put a tiny bit of jojoba on ends and canopy.
I've used Sebastian No. 9, it has cones. Made my hair curlier, but crunchy. When I combed the crunchy out, so went the curls. Even after the cut, I have so little hair at the ends that when they curl they just separate and look messy. At least it feels good.
Sprayed the VO5 hot oil leave-in on my ends today. Hair doesn't feel as nice today, build-up? I did put some hair gel in when it was braided, then wore it in a bun last night. Lovely curls this morning, resulting in octopus tendrils in 3 hours, followed by combing and ignoring this evening. I think part of the problem is I still think I have as thick of hair as I had 20 years ago. On the other hand, I couldn't grow my hair waist length back then. AND I didn't have a sweet DH who would help me take care of it, hee, hee!
Kerry's hair was looking dry for a bit. He's switched to the Creme of Nature shampoo and stopped washing his hair every day. Now it takes about three days for his hair to even start looking dirty, so it seems to be working better for him too.
yawn Time to give the viscasha's their bottle and head for bed.
