Kerry and I are both at 26". Well, for a week or so there, my hair was longer than his! Still, my hair was at 25" on May 1, so I'm pretty darn happy. This is as long as his hair has ever been, usually it tangles by now and he asks me to cut it. This new hair regime is paying off in oh! so many ways, hee hee. Also a customer told him he had "disgustingly nice" hair and asked what shampoo he used, that doesn't hurt either I'm sure.
Getting a lot more guys on the Loom, that's so neat. All of them have beautiful hair too. They talk about ways to do their hair which is very cool, maybe we are getting away from the days when guys wore either ponytails or braids and that was it. I look back at my art history books and guys had much more diversity in hair and clothes. Well, now that I think of it, more in clothes than hair. Hey, maybe we are making history here. If we all felt comfortable "doing our own thing" stylewise, the world would be a much more interesting place.
The wallies are great. Sheldon is small for his age, but getting very plump. M thinks it may be because his mother is old. He just loves checking everything out, for some reason he loves the brass lamp, always goes over to it and nibbles at the bulb. Just curious about everything. I bet he thinks his name is "come here Sheldon" I say it so much. Sidney is such a baby in comparison, still stays in the pouch most of the time, while Sheldon is out most of the time and is beginning to not want his bottle. Neither is as affectionate as our first girls, but they are charming in their own way. I love watching Sheldon trying to figure out his world and Sidney happily snuggily tight against me. I think that there is a bigger age gap between Sheldon and Sidney than there was between Tildy and Sheila, but Sheldon is much less aggressive. He plays a bit with Sidney, but doesn't harrass him. They also don't try to sleep in the same pouch very often. I think Sheldon is a little fur covered gentleman. The joeys have been such an unexpected delight.
M says I have a new kinkajou to raise! Good thing the joeys are easy or I would be miserable trying to do both. I volunteered to take the baby yak, I think she would have let me if I had a safe place to keep him. Hopefully we will get over there tommorow and I'll get to see him and take more pics of all the babies. After the goat babies, I don't think Kerry is too crazy about raising hooved babies in the house, even if they are smaller than our cats.
I gotta move my Yahoo pic album, nobody seems to be able to see the pics unless I email it direct from the site. I'd like to put our hair album online too.
I have got to stop procrastinating and get on with the business. But it's so much more fun to play on the Loom, the organization board and my e-mail friends! Ah well, I need to get some business in, and I do enjoy that too. Outside of the fact I have got to start making some MONEY! I think maybe I am a little too used to being poor and making do. Which is another way of saying LAZY!
Now there was a missed photo op. Moosie was washing Morpheus, Morpheus rolled back and stuck most of Moosie's face in his mouth! What a change from when Moosie could have swallowed Morpheus whole and not even noticed. Moosie, of course, just sat there and looked besotted, his kittens can do no wrong. I'm sure he would be much happier if we let him adopt at least one kitten a year. M just adopted two little polydactals, maybe I can convince her to let them come over for a playdate. Just what we need, more animals under foot. So, I have very few vices, chocolate, pastry and animals. At least the animals are not fattening. At the rate I'm going, I may have to add hair care products and recipies to the list!
Gosh, if I ever needed an FBI check on my life now, the agent would die of boredom. I always feel sorry for those guys, their co-workers are out capturing criminals, and there they are, doing routine security checks on super-straight people like me. Really, what can there be to check up on someone's 14 year old sister? Mmm, thinking of some 14 year olds I've met, maybe it's not so crazy after all.
Joeys are calling me, bottle time.
