Well, I think my hair has stablized in color, I think I read somewhere it finishes oxidizing at about a week. I love it! It has coppery highlights but it has deepened to a richer red than I was ever getting with the chemical dyes. My hair feels silky and tends to tangle less. Yep, I am now a card carrying henna addict! It also passed the adult daughter test...Bethany loves it, so it's unanymous.
As a strange side note, I used my Suave Milk & Honey conditioner to wash my hair. I noticed a slightly spicy smell it hadn't seemed to have before, really nice. I finally figured out it was the mixture of the henna smell with the conditioner!
This is the ends brought back up to the roots. There used to be a huge color difference, from a nice auburn to a gray streaked strawberry blonde almost. The color difference now isn't really noticable in regular lighting.
The bottom color is about the color Jake, my Irish setter was. What a beautiful dog, even if he was dumber than a stump!

This was the most fun I've had with a hair color since I was in my 20's! And no guilt over using nasty ingredients. I can hardly wait to see my sis and mom-in-law's reaction, we are off to their place for Thankgiving tomorrow.
Bethany is busy making cute little tree and star shaped candies. They are mostly cream cheese and sugar. So far she has made wintergreen, cinnamon and rum flavors, with vanilla butter mint and some fruit flavors to go. I am going to gain SO much weight, these are yummy!
