Below are pictures I received yesterday from 2 different owners of male pups from the Lou - Hoss mating. The orange and white pup is Rico, owned by Mike Coleman of Iowa. The black and white pup is Doc, owned by Brian Brannon of Georgia.
This is Rico. This is his first training session and also pictured is his first honor of another dog.
Below is Doc. Doc, unlike his littermate brother Rico, has a classic "pump-handle" tail. Given time Doc's tail will look just like Rico's.
You can see a slight downward bow to Rico's tail, if you look close enough, it is more previlent in the picture of him backing. Below is a picture of Bo'Darc CW Squirt. She is a half sister to Lou, both are sired by Stitch. In the first picture she is about or just a little less than a year old. The second picture is of her just a few weeks before her 2nd birthday. Quite a difference a year makes. I personally am not concerned with a pump-handled tail puppy off of a strong Fiddler mating. It'll straighten up a bunch, if not to being broom handle straight eventually...given some time
Here's Squirt:
Here's some more of my thoughts about tales...I mean tails...
