  • A long forgotten show murdered in its prime, can we keep its honor alive? Please read.

A few months ago after watching some of my old G vs. E tapes, which have become choppy, fuzzy and semi unusable I realized something had to be done before I lost my favorite show forever. In my desperation I purchased the pirated copies off ebay, which are good copies of the series even though they are obviously taped off television. I now feel like a traitor against my favorite television show in doing so, and if they ever officially began selling the series I would bye them again for the sake of honor.

After 3 days of my own personal G vs. E marathon, I find myself just as obsessed with the series as I was 6 years ago. I even got the pleasure of witnessing 4 or 5 episodes that were new to me, and in a way it felt like fresh new material to a long forgotten series.

More then anything I feel like my favorite series of all time as been canceled all over again. In my desperate act to fill this void I hunted the internet for G vs. E information and only came up with 6 to 7 year old articles and sites that had not been viewed by a living soul in years.

Out of all my television watching experience G vs. E and original Star Trek were the only shows in my life that really caught my eye, and to find G vs. E all but completely forgotten and wiped from the earth forever is a truly depressing realization.

I feel something must be done to give this show the credit it rightfully deserves, and the only means of accomplishing this goal in my power is posting this speech and adding my vote to the TV shows on DVD website. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/ This is the address to that site and I would highly advise adding yourself to the list if you loved this show as well, anything to give it at least a speck of credit, which is menial to what is truly deserves. I also have started writing summaries for every single episode and plan on posting them on Internet movie Database. http://www.imdb.com/ These will be the only summaries found in the entire internet which truly have every single episode accounted for.

If you read this entire post please give me some acknowledgment in a reply that you did so, for the only way this show will ever be remembered is if the fans join forces once again. If something is not talked about, it might as well not exist, and at this moment G vs. E very much is in that state of nonexistence. Give me your replies, let’s talk about the show and get this message board running. Anything in our power to keep the truly best show every to appear on television alive. I have spoken my peace, now speak yours.

      Sincerely,
      Stephanie
