Don't get me wrong, respectfully, I think you are still a little hot on the topic of RM.
What about AP ? The Montoya's the Allinghi's ? I think, and these are my two cents: A brand that personifies sportsmanship and cutting edge technology has to participate in these high profile sports. Afer all, it is a business, and those two sports get a lot of press and attention, what a better chance than the Americas cup ? Furthermore, Technology and high-tech materials are RM's passion. Look at what he has accomplished borrowing from F1 ! a completely new concept in watchmaking. Those boats employ more minds and technology than anything, not to mention money in R&D. I think it is a move in the right direction for RM, designwise and businesswise. As for the look of the watch, it is a little less aggressive on it's lines for my taste, but yet, so are boats.
