Regarding the availability of the RM004, the situation is quiet difficult, let me give you some data (not certain if all of this is accurate)... There are 400 outstanding orders and production will be only between 15 to 25 watches a year. The first batch of the V2's will be ready in a few months... in other words you will have to wait 16 years to get the next available RM004-V2.

The RM004 has been such a hassle to conceive that I am not certain if it's really worth for RM to make it at all. The RM004 will be one of those watches that will become a legend not before long.

So unless you find a dealer that has placed his orders over 4 years ago and will be receiving it this year or maybe even next you could try and snatch one. Provided of course that they are not reserved or sold already. Discounts will be very unlikely, actually I would not be surprised if the first will be offered at a premium. For a watch in that price range this is quiet surprising. Except of some Pateks, and these are all limited editions, I don't recall any watch at this price range being in such demand.

Good luck in finding one if you decide to take the "next" step. I do recommend that you start moving soon because once they start to hit the market I believe that things will get worse.
