Response to Deja vu...

Interesting you should feel this way and the response of the others add to the general emotional uncertainty with this watch. I had long struggled against having this watch trying to rationalise why I did not need another 005, and whether I was just attracted to the "LEGO" colours and advertising hype for the watch. However, in the end when one sees and wear the watch, the stong resolutions dissolved without another second's thought. Whether I will rue the emotional decision in the future remains to be seen, but since when is buying a watch not an emotional decision anyway One could also argue that the alternative watch would have all the pros and cons anyway against the decision to buy.
So at the end of the day, if one can afford it and sees pleasure in the ownership, I would say "go for it" and let tomorrow enfold. After all, if everything was that easy to predict, there would be no "fun" in all these activities anyway, and there will be no "market" as we understand.
I just take heart that there is a group of other like-minded individuals who have also bought the watch and enjoying them fully.

BTW, my wife enjoys wearing it as well without much regard for the price, and my baby daughter happily licks at the yellow satin strap as well (LOL!). In a way, this gives me a personal satisfaction that the watch can also be understated!
