What were the problems with the original RM deployant?

Was it just difficult to operate with just one hand, or did it actually come open unexpectedly by itself? Or was it something else entirely?

Thanks

There were no problems with it 'per se', but some found

it uncomfortable and would 'pinch' on the under side of the wrist. The deployment on the RM010 is completely new and eliminates that problem. Some people prefer the old type of deployment, some the new, and some the tang buckle.

the main problem was lack of adjustability

Basically it required you to cut the strap to a certain fit and had no micro adjustments so once you cut, you were stuck with it. That means if the original fit isn't perfect or your wrists swell or sweat or something, you have no options.

Other than that, I have not heard any complaints about it.

I agree: only issue: no micro-adjustability. It felt comfortable to me (nt)
