Fragmenting .22 Ammo for Self-Protection

My goal isn't to start an argument over whether or not a .22 is suitable for personal protection, that has already been discussed many times over the years. I realize .380 semi-autos or .38 revolvers are considered by many as minimum rounds for self-protection. However, a few months back I was reading about a .22 bullet made specifically for shooting people (sorry - that's what you do when your life's in danger) that breaks apart into (3) pieces, as I recall, resulting in more damage than a regular HP. I didn't bookmark the article and can no longer find any information on this cartridge. Are any of you familiar w/ it and, if so, where can they be purchased?

In my latest search for this round, something that came up several times was a .22 for SP is primarily a tool to hopefully allow you to get away from your assailant and not to necessarily kill them. For me, that is a a good thing and I do fully understand the possible downside (an angry assailant STILL mobile enough to kill me).

Thanks,
Jake

Quik-Shok (possibly mis-spelled) was what it was known as.

CCI has it now, as a "Segmented HP" their number is 0064 and 0074. I believe they offer it as a Subsonic and High Velocity version.
