city vanishes after every editby mc drivehi ! unfortunately everytime i edit something in a mission (i.e. cops off, no damage, nothing else)the city is gone when starting the mission, only my car, other cars & the sky remain. what am i probably doing wrong ?? thank u ! |

DMC and UKby Karlr30DMC should work on any retail version of Driver. If not, please leave me an email. You should read the detailed installation notes on how to install DMC and make sure it is working. Thanks karlr |
Driver Car Question?byIn the PC version, is there a '68 Dodge Charger that you use in one of the San Francisco missions? It is black, and looks just like the one in the pictures below (on right in second pic). I know the PSX version has this car, but does the PC version? Dodge 68by karlr30 Hmm, Thats hard to say, they don't have any marks , but they look like real muscle car. Probably a legal issue. Looking at your picture, i found a couple that looks like it... but for what i know of it. The 17 cars list you have seen are all the cars that are in Drivers. |
My Sound Doesnt work...byThe movie and the sounds for the menu work but when i drive the car only the music plays not the sounds like engine or anything please help.. |

DMC Downloadby karlr30 You should be able to download DMC from this site, however, if it is not working then there is probably some problem with the server. Please try one of the links on the left side of the home page to get DMC. Driver HQ, or 3d Speed and many others got the latest releases. Thanks. |

Steering wheel problems...byI have a Mad Catz Puma GT steering wheel and where ever i hold the gas the car speeds up!id like the car to stay at a certain speed ,and when i turn the steering wheel,no matter at what degree of rotation, the car turns fully...And i have force feedback but i cant turn force feedback on... Can some1 please help me with all this??? Thanx |

Screen Shotby karlr30 You probably have a 3d Card. I was used to have a 3dfx Voodoo 2 cards (8Mb) and had no problem at all making Screen Shoot. I have now upgraded to the TNT2 Ultra from Diamond and the F12 keys does not work anymore. I think many people have those problem for taking screen shoot from many 3d cards. I now use the HyperSnap-DX which is a small utility that enable you to capture screen shoot. Trouble opening DMCby PeterThe DMC was downloaded as a ZIP file. I presume this is correct? But when I go to click on the icon it says: "MMSYSTEM281 This file could not be played. Check the file name or install a driver that supports this type of file." Is this how I go about opening a ZIP file or am I doing it wrong? Thanks Pete |

How to play your own music?byI found a driver unofficial mp3 player at www.nopeone.de/driver, it can play the driver mp3 files... how I would get it to play other mp3 files in the game? I know there is a patch or something out there, anyone have one? |
I just...by...put in my own CD, starting the music before I get into the game, since the game dosen't need the driver cd to run. |
How to record pursuits?byIs there any way to record car chases? The RandomChase must be recorded with the correct car, otherwise the chased car drives into walls, etc. It would be cool to make a Bullitt-like chase... one of the civilian cars resembles Dodge Charger. |

New missionsby karlr30 You should find some missions in the download section as well as some sounds. There is also many other sites where you can get other missions. Take a look at the link on the left side of the DMC home page. |
new york map glitch?byThis is weird... On the New York map, there's a museum or something at the west end of the map. You can drive up a ramp to get to it, and drive around it and come back down the ramp--the road around it is only about a lane wide. Here's the weird part... There's a low wall along the street by the entrance. Go to the NORTH end of that wall, and drive onto the sidewalk and into that corner where the wall meets the building. The car suddenly jumps into the air, and floats along in the air next to the building for a while, then falls to the ground and flips over. After several tries, I got it to land upright and drive around a little, but it soon jumped in the air again for no apparent reason and flipped again. Is this a bug, or are you supposed to be able to jump the wall and drive around in that lot? (I haven't gotten that far in the Undercover missions, so I don't know if it figures into one of the missions...) |
Once again, a crashing problem.byI have DMC207 with the GT Interactive demo. I change the time limit length save and run the game, the time limit is changed, but after the police say "Stop that petty..." game crashes, and i get this error: "Application Error at 0x004ECC9C(unknown) Click OK to continue" and the game crashes. HELP |

Creating a new missionbyHi*, I really enjoy those pursuit-missions, where I have to catch the car. I'd like to create a template mission, with another starting point, another car, etc. But I don't know how. I experimented a bit, and changed the weather, but everytime it rained, the other car, got stucked. I don't know, how this system works, so is it even possible? Or do the cars have special given ways to drive on? Ok, does anyone know something? Thank you, ManX |

TAXI missionbyHi. ANyone tell me how to complete (genuinely!) the taxi mission? I've got to about half way on the scare bar at most. I can handbrake, reverse, flip, forward etc, hit cars, miss cars etc etc but cant get more than half way on the 'scare-o-meter'!! thanks |
taxi!by KellyIt's really easy you just go straight all the way to the end of the sreet you start on.Then make a right there are many piles of sand to the left. Jump all the piles of sand as you can this should work after a few trys. |
