Intra-league could have been a world wide success..now, futile

I must state that it is really stupid for the CHL to be considering intra-league play now. They had their chance to make it work a few years ago, but now its too late. The only reason this would have worked, is so that the other leagues would get a chance to see the greatest Canadian junior player of all time, Marc Savard. I mean, it could have been great. All of these rinks across Canada would have been able to see this god like talent, which otherwise would have been impossible. Imagine the circus like atmosphere when he came to town? It would have been bigger than when Michael Jordan would visit cities. They should have even gone further than an intra-league schedule, they should have done intra-continent scheduling. I mean, if the idea is to sell the game of hockey across the globe, who better to do that then Marc Savard? All of those Europeans and Asians would have been exposed to this great talent, and would have taken to the game of hockey. #27 jerseys would have been available in eery country in the world. However, the CHL missed its chance. Savard has gone on to world wide recognition and stardom, but the CHL has not cashed in on it. The league should have done a better job at recognizing a talent that has never been, or never will be equalled. For the CHL to attempt this now would be disaster, as the backlash from these cities that didn't get to see Savvy years ago will be enraged, as they should be. Attendance would suffer as fans show their displeasure, and hockey in Canada would be in jeopardy. But, with his appointment of head of the CHA, Marc Savard could likely solve this problem. But, I urge David Branch not to let this happen. Stop this intra-league non-sense, and instead use your time and efforts to educate Canada on the great career of Marc Savard, and study exactly what allowed him to be the dominant force he is, both on the ice, and in our hearts.
