Obviously, Colley has watched the Generals treat Savvy with no sense of gratitude and does not want to be treated the same way. If Colley sees the greatest player in the history of the Oshawa Generals being treated poorly, why would he want ot play? This is a black mark against the organization, and will only continue to haunt them in the future.

Where is your big bashful man, Cameron Mann? Where is this so called world junior? Is he third on his NHL team in scoring? I don't think so! I am in the know, as is the former Gens coach, Bill "the apostle" Stewart. He took the talent that Savvy was blessed with and let if flourish. And know Savvy is ripping up the NHL. O.k not that this message will help the Colley foundation or anything, but I really wouldn't come back now if I were him. Sorry to say it guys, but what kind of welcoming do you think he'd get from the magority of the fans, what kind of comments would you expect to hear flying around about him. "oh yea he talks big but when it comes down to it he'll buckle." and such, It'll really hurt his pride to have to come back, taht's just admitting to them, that he lost this one, he was powerless, and I can see him thinking it being demeaning. Now I would LOVE to see him back, just as much as anyone else, I loved watching him play he was amazing, and would help out a great deal this year, but honestly folks I would totally and completely understand and see where he was coming from if he didn't return. Hey you can disagree, you can argue with me all you want, but I'm just as stubborn as him and there's no way anyone can get me t change my opinion, and I don't think that anyone can get him to change his excpet maybe himself.

I totally agree with you on this one. They (The Gens) do ge tthrown around like rage dolls every game. They lose like 80% of their fights. It's sickening how weak this team is. They don't even through body checks and they act like panzy's in there own end. I just wish the good old days would be back again. When Guys like Tocher, Ware (in his rookie year), Ken Sheppard, all of those guys where here in Oshawa. What a year that was. Now that was a tough team, they could fight, hit, and win games. They were the total package, to bad they didn't go far in the playoffs. And then the team that Ryan Lindsey Lead was another tough team. Guys like John Trip out ther, those where the days. I hope they made a trae for some toughness.

Yea, but in the Memorial Cup I see them meeting up with Calgary who has a very strong team again this year. I can't see them letting the cup get away this year. Those boys want it and they are good too. They're going to be giving some tremendous competition.

I Have been watching the Generals for a very long time. This years team is very young and inexperienced. The biggest problem I see, is there is too much time spent looking for the perfect play. Teams like this one need to get back to basics and shoot for the net and then crash and pounce on rebounds. My biggest disappointment has been Goodwins insistence upon passing...and passing. We lack the skills of Lindros, Savard, Colley etc this year. Our defence has held up extremely well, but our offense is taking lots of shots...but not quality shots. I would say about 50-60% hit the logo of the goalie. I have never played hockey but shoot it straight at me and I could stop it. I love my team and I will support them no matter what. But this years generals need to get back to basics.
Gaverau just does not have the skills...like our other top players. I would love to hear what others think as well.

Not true, Belleville will ALWAYS hate Kingston, especially this year with Avery and all. We do not hate Oshawa but we don't like them eitheir. I have always hated Kingston from Lindros to Ling to Corpse to Avery to Cooke, not to mention Moro, Maracle, Ling, Ling, Ling and i guess Ling, I hate them all. Only Generals i hate are Savard, Colley and maybe Gillies, but i don't think any of those guys are on Oshawa anymore. Kingston looks awesome this year, but they cannot beat Belleville in a 7 game series, i promise you that, you never have and you never will. You better hope you guys can avoid us come playoff time. Just like with Plymouth in 97-98. Bulls would have went all the way if they would have gotten to face Guelph. Mav always loads up, i have no idea why it didn't work last year, but this year it finially is. But come playoff time don't expect any miracles, trust me we have seen it every year before Louie took over.

Willers was the problem not Rusenstrom! That waste of a pair of skates(Willars) was caught up ice leaving Rusenstrom alone a total of 9 times in the second period alone. Willers should have a severe ass kicking by Goodwin for his mistakes against the 67's. You can't blame Rusenstrom, the guy was a +9 going into the game tied for the +/- lead for the generals. Not to bad for a guy who has no points it simply means he is doing his job well all year and I think he did it against the 67's too. Not too many players can stop as many 2 on 1's and 3 on 1's that he stopped that day.

I am well aware of the fact that Brent doesn't lift his legs when skating, but he shouldn't be taking the blame for what has happened to the Gens. He is the only one to give the Gens a win in their last 5 games, scoring the OT winner in Sudbury. He, nor anyone else has the ability to break the curse which has been put on the Generals. Nothing can save this team, and surely not a change of the captaincy.

For goodness sakes people move on in your lives. Marc Savard was a wonderful player but has moved on and so should you. I cannot understand all of these cries about how he is god and perfect and the current gen's should bow down and worship the great one. The curse is not because they don't do this but because they are not playing up to standards lately. Please get over it and cheer for the current generals. Respect the phrase "make new friends but keep the old" marc savard is old and their are new to conquer and honour.
