Torque converter

Is it bad to leave transmission fluid in the torque converter for an extended period of time? I want to install my transmission and the torque converter needs some fluid in it as to avoid a dry start, but the engine wont be ready to fire for about three months. Is it bad to wait that long with the fluid just sitting in the converter?
