actually alan, the first thing i focus on in neils music is..

the music itself, i love the way neil composes music, i believe neil to be a musical genius, i love listening to the instruments he incorporates into the songs and the sounds that he has written, that those instuments are to make, the words are secondary to me, some songs like "love on the rocks" "hello again" and actually most of neils songs are very self-explantory, but then there are some songs that i listen and listen and think to myself, "what the hell is neil talking about", but nonetheless my first love is listening to that beautiful noise he puts together.
