Mike, I'd like you to think about this a minute. I want you to know I am not criticizing you but just wanting you to put yourself in the shoes of Neil's family members for a moment. All his children are grown and have lives of their own. They have lived in the shadow of their dad who has been a BIG celebrity for ever since most of them were born. They probably have had a difficult time of it since people probably have asked them "Neil Diamond is your father?" From there the conversations probably centered on Neil rather than them. They are individuals who are NOT celebrites and have not chosen to be famous like their dad. Therefore, I think we should respect their privacy. Neil CHOSE for his life to become an "open book" by becoming a perfomer, but his kids didn't. I know a lot about one particular member of his family. I ran across this info accidentally when researching a certain subject not pertaining to Neil Diamond. I was surprised I could find the info so easily and embarrassed that I did, because it made me realize just how difficult it must be for the families of celebreties to just live like "normal" people. I mean how would you like it if someone discussed your entire life on a computer message board that's read all over the world? If you reveal things about yourself or are a public persona that's one thing, but if you are just a family member and want your life to be kept private, its an entirely different story. I hope you take this message in the spirit in which it is written.
