I agree...they multi-colored ones started in 1989

and just kept getting crazier and crazier. One of them looked like Micah stood back and threw paint at it. I loved the beaded ones from the 80's. There were no sequins on those...or on the multicolored ones either. It was all beads. He just started with the sequins in 1998 and 1999. I think they are probably lighter (weight) than the beads, but not nearly as nice.
