london, a travelogue :-)

when the TM-tour was announced and it was clear, that he wouldn't come to germany, my daughters made me a 3-day-londontrip as a present: tickets for flight, for the shows on saturday and monday, and accomodation in the appartement of sebastian, a friend of them. i was sick out of dread of flying first time in my life, got on my daughters nerves and just one thought made me enter that horrible tin, finally: that i would fly to the humanbeing i love and miss. (ND, who else). when the plane started, i did doubt, that i would get on again, to fly back without him!
i felt shadowed somehow, before starting, at the plane, and after landing... and there at the airport i had to ward off suddenly against a younger, strange guy, who did sweating insist on welcome me. must have been a misunderstanding.
i found the way to that beautiful exciting london, called sebastian from a undergroundstation, from where he picked me up.
and at evening he drived me through the city, to wembley-stadion... and all the time i was half, standing beside myself :-). my place was far away from stage, but i could see, hear and feel, and it was good, to be together under one and the same roof with him. it was a perfect show, even if i couldn't understand the words he was saying between the songs. and even if every little thing might have been well rehearsed, so you could experience an artist on stage, present with its soul and radiating its charisma by its voice and, as it semt, through every pore. then it was over. i had to find my way, to undergroundstations, home, asking friendly people, many of them held tour-books in its hands, and talking in my selfmade-english.
standing in a little garden in front of the appartement i thought of the man i love, feeling him near, somewhere in the city at night. and i cried.
