I believe this was 1976 because I don't remember hearing any songs from IGYHWMT. Forgive me if I forget some things.This was a while ago and it being my first time seeing Neil I wasn't myself. I first saw Neil while I was stationed in San Diego while in the Navy.I ended up going to the concert by myself because everyone I asked was on duty or had other plans. I got to the Arena really early.Luckliy there was a Towers Record close by and I stayed ther for awhile before the show. I finally went and waited in line to get in.When they opened the doors I walked around trying to find my seat.My seat was about 1/2 way up and I would say about 20 rows from the stage on the right side.This was way before the "in the round" and the worst seats in the house were the ones behind the stage.I didn't seean empty seat in the house. I do remember being in awe and nervous/anxious in seeing Neil for the first time.I thought to myself "I wonder what songs Neil will sing,I hope he sings this song or that song."At the end it didn't matter because it was Neil. During one point in the show he did perform a song especially for the people sitting behind the stage. Another part I remeber was neil asking the audience for request.Well the people just starting screaming out song titles.I am not sure but for some reason "Both Sides Now" is the song I think he ended up singing. I remeber Neil sitting down singing and talking about songs from "Beautiful Noise". One song I remeber him not peformng (which I wanted to hear ) was Crunchy Granola Suite. We sang along to Song Sung Blue. The last half of the show was almost song for song as HAN(Play Me to Brother Loves) I spent more time standing than sitting. But then it was all over and time to leave. The one regret have is I never got a souvenoir from the show.I even lost my ticket stub on the way back to the base.
