My experience/painful sex

What a brilliant website!! I had a barty abscess in 1997 when I was 52. The pain was unbearable. My doctor prescribed antibiotics and hot baths and told me it could take a week to burst. I trotted off home, started taking antibiotics and baths. After 5 days the wretched thing had decreased in size and I could get out of bed without the assistance of a crane. Convinced I was over the worst I congratulated myself with a cup of tea. An hour later I was laying on my side and it seemed as if I could feel the abscess spreading out inside me - it was tickly and weird. My bits that should have been tucked neatly away were hanging down like large swollen curtains. Lovely. I should have called my doctor in but decided to give it seven days. What a sponge I was. The last night felt as if I was standing in front of a raging fire. I have never exoperienced such pain, it was almost unbearable. My sister took one look at my face and called the doctor in next morning who was appalled at the state of me and ordered an ambulance to take me to hospital. I sat up gently in bed and felt a slight dampness. When I threw the covers back the most disgusting smell ever assailed my nose. The wretched thing had broken.The pain went immediately. I was still sent to hospital amd had it operated on. The gyneacologist told me it had 3 heads (he had marcuperated it) and was one of the largest he had ever seen. Clever me. I healed quickly and it has never recurred.

Has anyone else had this problem? I tried sex 2 months after the op and it really hurt. I broke up with my partner (no connection) so forgot all about it. I have recently met someone else. Sex is painful again, the same pain I had the first and only time after the op. It comes from the same side where the abscess was. I sometimes bleed slightly, a very light colour, not dark. I almost feel as if I am too tight. I have KY jelly but lubriction is not a problem with me. Can anyone help?
