I've had a BG cyst on my left labia for close to 7 years with no pain, tenderness or unusual swelling. To my knowledge, it has never burst then returned, increased or decreased in size.
I've gone to 3 different gynologists who've suggested everything from drainage & Word catheter, to marsupialization to watchful waiting. Really, my only problem with this BG cyst is that it has made my vaginal opening smaller and therefore, penile entry is slightly uncomfortable, but not impossible with lots of lubrication. I was wondering the following: (1) Has anyone ever had a BG cyst that has just disappeared spontaneously or decreased in size? (2)I'd also like to know how the cyst could return after marsupialization??? And, (3) Is there much pain with having the cyst drained and having the catheter put in? Thanks in advance for all responses...this site has been a tremendous help to me!
