I have a B.Cyst too on my left side. I am 49 and have had 3 opinions. All 3 say to remove the entire gland because of my age. I have ZERO pain. I have had it since April, but it does not seem to go away. It is a little smaller than a ping pong ball. I've given it 2 months now, so I think it's time to get rid of it too. I was told by a highly regarded gyno that recovery is 2 weeks. When I read the messages on the site though from women who have had it done, and they're in awful pain, I get nervous too. Especially, since I have zero pain. But the truth is, it's abnormal and doesn't belong there, so I'm okay with having it done. I will get the date of my surgery this Monday, but it will probably be done in late June/early July. I am nervous though. I HATE PAIN!
I have an extremely competent gyno who went to Yale, and I am praying that I won't have any of the problems the other women have had.
