Response to Howcan gland removal not work?!

Hi-
Sorry to hear about your horrible experiences! I've ben to 4 different doctors in the past 2 weeks, and from what all of them tell me, it is pretty much bad luck. Some STDs can provoke the duct to close, but for the most part, it just happens. One doctor cited that wearing a wet swimming suit until it dries is a bad idea, and to change underwear often. Since I had my abscess drained, I've been keeping EXCELLENT care of my "area" down there, and I was instructed to douche every day for 5 days after the procedure. When I woke up with my cyst, I had been sleeping on the floor of a ferry, very uncomfortably. Maybe the duct was somehow blocked this way? I have only had one abscess, but if I have another one, I will have the entire gland removed. I asked one doctor if having the gland removed would affect the lubrication of my vagina, and he said no. So, I think they "aren't telling" because there really is no predecessor to these horrible, despicable cysts and abscesses!!!!!
