I thank God was fortunate enough to having caring supportive people around me who understand. None of them actually know what I'm going through but they're all there for me and help me when I need it. You're not alone as far as it more or less swelling in length. I've had it swell all the way to my opposite leg (in length) and all the way to my leg (because how round it was). And I've had it go in both directions as well as the swelling almost reaching my buttox. Believe me I know how uncomfortable it can be in any direction.
