About two weeks ago I noticed that my genital area was tender. A week later (one week ago today)I noticed a small bump on the inside of my left vaginal lip. This was on Wednesday, by Sunday it had grown and become more painful, it's not that big, about the size of a small grape. Anywho, I first assumed it was a hairbump because I am especially prone to those (why, I don't know, considering I don't shave), but then I was thinking hair doesn't grow on your lip so I went to get it checked out and the gyno told me it was a Bartholin's Cyst and gave me some bacitracin ointment(triple anti) to put on it and told me to take sitz baths. It's not gotten any better and she told me it would get worse before it gets better. Aside form the pain with every activity, there is also mass discharge from my vagina. Like is the other gland trying to compensate for this one not working because there is a constant flow of lubrication from my vagina? Anyone else experienced that?
