Going on two years now...

I've had a 1.5"x1" bartholin's gland cyst for about 2 years now. It's super annoying but never gets infected. The first doctor I went to about 6 months into it flat out refused to do anything to it unless it became infected.
The second one I went to 1 year into it (when it had gotten larger, of course, as if not doing anything could possibly make it go away) agreed that the first doctor was a moron, but the second one wanted to use a word catheter (ha, burn in hell doctor). I told her where she could put her word catheter.
Finally, I got fed up and heavily iced the area, slathered it with iodine, and lanced the thing myself. It healed up in less than a week and gave me a wonderful 2 months or so of blissful lack of having a gigantic swelling between my legs. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do anything to keep the cut open so it closed up and the cyst eventually grew back to full size again.
Now I have to decide what to do to it again as it's such an annoyance and it is large enough it makes sex uncomfortable and weird.
