I had my first abcess when I was 28, the surgeon stitched it open so that it would not come back.
I then had one my left side 6 years ago, that I understand was just drained and recovery was quick.
Last week while on holiday number 3 came with a vegenace on my left side what a size of an abcess!!
This time I went to a private surgeon who tld me that he had removed the gland, but recovery is longer ,so what if it does the job.So fingers crossed it doesnt come back.
