cable modem

I have a seperate ethernet card set-up for the orange card, so I dont think it shares anything with the Mac except the pci bus ??? I'm running it through a linksys router witch assigns it its on IP address. I did quickly run this by a guy at Micro Orange (and I mean quickly,otherwise a 50.00 charge) he said they dont work well with cable modems and like you said it works better with dsl.......beats me why..... packets are packets
