Relative speed...?

Me, again. I neglected to ask.......is VirtualPC proving to be faster than the hardware cards in your G4? I've used VPC on my G3 (before I upgraded the OS) and found it to be.........wellllll, useable but terribly, TERRIBLY sluggish.
