The PC/DOS compatibilty cards haven't allowed sharing the Mac memory since MS-DOS and Windows 3.1. As I recall, you could only share 8 MB of Mac memory with the DOS card. But, now adays, you have to put a memory module into the card in order to run Windows. The different cards have different max amounts that they support, and you can usually find these out looking in the Apple site. The funny memory that they take is almost always the same memory that the Mac that they work it takes. So, you will need to put at least a 16MB memory module into that PC compatibility card in order to load windows on it...
