A Note on Gravity Probe B

Allow me to break the ice!

We need something very recent and interesting.

Gosh!
What could it be?

AHA...
EUREKA!
I found it.

Take a look:

http://books.nap.edu/html/gpb/summary.html

Gravity Probe B!

As you see, this 'NASA TOY' is expensive, but its goal is truly fantastic: MEASURING FRAME-DRAGGING!

The rotation of Earth is supposed, on the basis of GTR, to drag pure space around it by extremely tiny infinitesimal amount. And Gravity Probe B is going to measure it.

The whole enterprise looks, walks, and feels like a science fiction.
Not even an out-of-his-mind SHAMAN could have thought of dragging pure VOID around.
Simply put, FRAME-DRAGGING is a myth, no more and no less.

What do you think?

I bet, by this time next year, the Gravity-Probe-B team will announce, to the world, and with a lot of HYPE that they have succeeded in measuring the "FRAME-DRAGGING" reasonably well. And that they have confirmed the correctness of GTR, once again, just in time, to coincide with the 100th-year anniversary of its twin, STR.

It's, now, your turn.
I have broken the ice!

Ice breaker

While you were braking the ice, I was drawing something to begin an interesting topic. That is involving gravity.I'll try to post it.As of space probe B, my biggest fear is that the results of this expensive experiment might get missinterpreted (hope I spelled it right) as it usually happenes. I think an experiment that proves or disproves constancy of speed of light is missing. And it would be a very good start.Thats what I thinks.

Misintrepretation of the GP-B data is not only possible.
It's certain.
You will see.
