OPEN LETTER

January 21, 2009

TO: University Physics Professors

Dear Sirs,
As of today, (January 21, 2009), please stop teaching the Theory of Relativity!
The Theory of Relativity is finished for good!!!

The Theory of Relativity is FALSE because:
Without performing any Physics experiment at all (in the laboratory or in space) and only by the notional experiment (See Experiment 14 on www.tsolkas.gr) it is clearly demonstrated that the Theory of Relativity is an utterly ERRONEOUS theory of Physics!!!
Excuse my bluntness, but please stop fooling yourselves. This is a disgrace to Science!
I am certain that physicists in the future will laugh at your failure to comprehend this simple experiment (Experiment 14)!!!
Frankly, --and with all due respect--, I cannot help wondering how it is possible for university professors to fail to understand such an uncomplicated experiment as Experiment 14?
Continuing teaching the Theory of Relativity at universities signifies that you are only deluding yourselves and perpetuating a LIE in Physics!!!
Personally, I am astonished by your failure to comprehend simple things like, for instance, Experiment 14. This is all I had to say, and nothing more

Yours sincerely,

Christos A. Tsolkas

That is all well and good Chris, but in your latest paper Tsolkas (http://www.wbabin.net/tsolkas/tsolkas28.pdf) you make the following statement,

"As it is well known, the Theory of Relativity holds the following: An observer P found in an inertial frame of reference S cannot prove by any Physics experiment whatsoever (either from the field of Mechanics or electromagnetism) whether this reference frame S is in motion or at rest relative to another inertial frame of reference S."

No! it is not "well known", I (we) do not find that passage in Relativity so it is apparently a mis-quote. I personally can't give you much credit if you can't attribute your work properly even if the statement is true, so, please provide me (us) with the proper citation of the above quoted passage.

cinci: Chris, you sound like a very serious fellow but you are way off course. Instead of complaining why somebody doesn't do your experimene, why don't you look at the experiments that have been done: Here is a list:

http://www.edu-observatory.org/physics-faq/Relativity/SR/experiments.html#Introduction

If you can't figure out why these experiments confirm relativity, perhaps you don't know enough about relativity.

Hello Christos!

It is very late for that, but I wish you an happy new year 2009!
I do hope you will be able sometimes to use your energy in a coherent way,
instead of mis-quoting almost every physicist and fighting ghosts.

I strongly encourage you to do some effort.
Try to understand the founding paper of special relativity: "ON THE ELECTRODYNAMICS OF MOVING BODIES, By A. Einstein" .

For example, in §6 of the paper, you will find these equations:

img93.gif

They relate the electric fields (X,Y,Z) and magnetic fields (M,L,N) in one frame to the fields in another frame, based on the theory of relativity. This just contradicts your statement in http://www.wbabin.net/tsolkas/tsolkas28.pdf :

"Therefore, Classical Physics and the Theory of Relativity fail to interpret the phenomenon of magnetic field generation for the observer P sitting in moving railcar S."

Contrary to your statement, the equations above from the theory of relativity, just do what you say SR should not be able to do.
