Anonymous,
"Let's see if relativity has meaning or is pure nonsense."

Maybe I can help Anon. Relativity predicts that Time dilates for the wheels relative to the stationary rider that's why, on long trips, the rider arrive prior to the wheels and when they do arrive they are younger than they were when the trip started. The wheels however, because of mass increase, no longer fit the bike and must be discarded. The diver faces the worst of all scenarios, he is unable to achieve an erection because the "rod" contraction dilemma is irreversible.

It's all very simple really, if the driver wants to return home all he has to do is click his heels three times and make a wish; the wicked witch is dead, the scare crow gets a clue, the lion finds his heart and the tin man...well he gets oiled and ends up in rehab. Alice finds out that Toto s really a Rat in dogs fur and has it put down. Let's not get into what happened to Aunti Em! As for the man behind the curtain, he passed away April 18, 1955.

Ted: No, relativity does not predict such an idiocy, YOU do. happy.gif

Let's see if relativity has meaning or is pure nonsense.

cinci: I believe relativity can explain why it rolls down hill. Can the Constitution the United States explain how your motorbike works. If not, does that mean the Constitution is pure nonsense? The bus schedules in whatever city you live in can't explain much about your motorbike either. Does that mean those schedules are nonsense? I think it turns out that your idea in this string is pretty much nonsense.

is the Constitution a physics theory?
is relativity a physics theory?

The answer to both these questions is - no.

The Constitution does not pretend to be a physics theory, but relativity does.

cinci: And relativity does not pretend to explain motor bikes. The only pretense here is yours by implying that relativity must explain all things physical or it isn't correct. Either you are pretending or you don't know there are other theories of physics and other sciences like thermodynamics that do explain your motorbike.

Relativity is supposed to deal with motion, are the only motor bikes you have experience broken?

Note to anonymous: Good job. Try to keep these two self-appointed "geniuses" occupied while the rest of us discuss reality.

cinci: OK, what is it about your motorbke that you don't understand that you want explained with relativity. Were you trying to go faster than light and are wondering why it didn't work? Just go ahead and ask. We're all here to help you.

cinci: Do you also have a question about how motorbikes work? Or are you still trying to figure our ballpoint pens?

Are you still beating your wife? I think you are constipated and are trying to work it out with a pencil. Truly a black hole.

I guess you're still working on the ball point pen thing.

If I go in reverse am I'm going backward in time, if I go forward I go forward in time; so why doesn't reverse work?

cinci: As for going forward or backward in time, you are always in the present from you point of view. As for reverse not working, check your transmission.

But I haven't got a reverse gear; but if I did have I could go back in time.

cinci: You might as well go back in time. You want to stick with all the old teories and ignore the modern ones.

cinci: This probably explains why you have to ask questions about how your motorbike works.
